Join Kulshan Carbon Trust, Whatcom Conservation District, and more in Sudden Valley on Wednesday, May 15th, from 6:30-8:00pm for a wildfire preparedness workshop.
Here’s the scoop: “Warming weather means wildfire season is on the horizon. Learn what you can do to protect your home at 6:30 PM on May 15th at the Dance Barn in Sudden Valley.
Representatives from the Whatcom Conservation District, Department of Natural Resources, South Whatcom Fire Authority, Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office Department of Emergency Management, City of Bellingham Natural Resources Division, and the Kulshan Carbon Trust will be presenting on ways we can all be more prepared for and resilient to wildfire emergencies. Topics will include home hardening against wildfire, emergency planning and alert systems, current and planned land management projects, and others.”
